Stockbridge - Shopping around Longstock

I had the pleasure of visiting Bakhtiyar over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed my time with Masoud! I was looking for a rug for my living room and there was a great selection to chose from, Masoud was extremely informative about all of the rugs he showed me and their histories and he made the experience truly wonderful. I now have an extremely attractive rug at home and I will be definitely be back in the future.

I had a massage there today, and it was one of the best massages I have ever had in my life. The woman was lovely, and I felt amazing afterwards. Would definitely go back.

Fantastic service, I turned up to drop off my motorcycle seat and they done both parts of the seat while I waited that day. Would definitely use them again 2 very friendly and very professional chaps. I've recommend them to my biker friend and I highly recommend them to anyone else. Great job done thanks guys.

Great place to stop and walk around the flood plain along the river, for us it was for a dog walk, but just a nice peaceful place to visit for any reason.

I absolutely love this shop! The originality and presentation of goods are so well thought out. Customer service and friendliness of staff is good too. Stockbridge is a good place to visit for it’s boutique-style shopping anyway but if you go nowhere else, then make sure you stop here.

great shop for shopping some good savings and fantastic bargains, fresh sandwiches, and when you walk through the door you are greeted with the smell of baked hot cross buns, the bakery goods are so good. the staff all work well and are very helpful to serve you.

The deli is cyclist friendly so a great stop on a day out. Food is ok, but a bit on the expensive side and our order did get forgotten, so I was day watching my friends finish their cakes before mine had even arrived. Did get an extra hot chocolate for our troubles though :)

Beautiful garden. Visited in the height of the heat wave, but it was still very green, including the lawns. Make sure you visit the whole site, including the alpacas, walk along the river (with more swans in one place than I've ever seen) past a beautiful location for a wedding and don't miss the topiary dragon (complete with mist spray for smoke), and up through the wood to the grotto.

Enjoyed a friend’s wonderful wedding day here last week - the space and gardens were perfect despite the weather not being quite so hot. The team at Houghton Lodge were incredibly helpful, particularly with a slight mishap late in the evening. If you like idyllic, rural beauty and want that sort of backdrop to your wedding, get married here! We’re RHS members so will be back to look around properly in the not too distant future.

Food is good but what stood out for us was the quality of the service. Impressed
